This technique is about pouring the soap over a block to achieve a fun pattern.
My formula :
50% Olive oil, 30% Coconut 20% Shea Butter
Water Lye Ratio 2:1
SF 8%
INS 153
Clays : green, yellow, red, pink
Raw cocoa powder.
fragrance : pomme vanille coco
Few pics of the process
after few swirls with a stick ...perhaps I have done too much swirls ...
The soap is still in the mold. Don't know yet how I will cut it tomorrow.
Update as of today :
O...
Cutted in 3 parts and cleaned ... Marbles
Later on , I will cut each soap in 2.
Here is soaps made by soap blogers in France with this technique at LE DEFI DES BULLES 2 hosting by Isabelle

I love how you offset the blocks! Great idea! I have no idea how you are going to cut it either, but it's a fun heart-shaped mold! :)
RépondreSupprimerThanks Amy. I think I will cut it in 3 part, then perhaps in 2 for 6 small soaps. It is a silicone mold for cakes that I have never used to bake with.
SupprimerI love the double blocks idea and how it made a different pattern in your soap. I'm going to have to try that idea. Beautiful!
RépondreSupprimerThank you Erica
SupprimerThis is brilliant! I love how your swirls came out. Very clever use of the blocks-I have to try this!
